two things. 1.) i got promoted at work wowie im a real network admin whos the Big Meat now huh!? 2.) an important person needs an important car so i bought a car. ive been looking for my dream car, an na or nb miata for years, but i desperately needed something that wasnt gonna explode like my old truck. so i bought a 2012 golf tdi from the guy who re-engined my moms forester. its got a 6spd, a nice audible exhaust, and a cold air intake.

being gifted my old big american truck with an automatic 9y ago i never properly learned to drive a standard in traffic, a shame which has been eating me since. ive been teaching myself for the past few days and being bad at driving again is pretty hilarious, like being 16 again. yesterday i survived attempting to drive to the store. got some Auto Parts, groceries, diesel, & a peetza so that was pretty cool. tomorrow im driving this thing all the way through the city to work for the first time.
