i work in the medical industry so i have to be at work all the time, rain or shine, tits or dicks, natural disasters or civil unrest be damned. on an unrelated note, i skipped out into the parking lot for 20 miutes on the 29th and 30th to grab some images of hurricane melissa.

these came off METEOR-M 2-4's VHF LRPT downlink, captured with a ~2m 4-element beam i made out of trash. 2-4's antenna didn't deploy correctly when it was launched, so at some angles it can be difficult to track and maintain polarization. 2-3 is a lot easier.
