there's been a lot of stuff going on. i have a shitass job that makes me really tired and upset so i cant spend a lot of time making things i want. on weekends all i want is to play cyberpunk for 8 hours straight and drink water. my friend sold me his 3070 which is a nice upgrade over my old 1080, so to celebrate i bought cyberpunk on sale and already have like 60hrs in it. i love this game so much it makes me feel emotions.

first big thing is that discord is doing this enforced age verification thing globally starting in march where you have to submit a scan of your face so a neural net can decide how fuckable you are. if you dont meat the fuckability quota the only way theyll let you see your friends again is if you scan your government-issued id into the internet proving you're legal. i communicate iwth all my friends on discord for the past 11 years. am i just going to wake up one day and have the one semi-private group of people whove ever accepted me for who i am held hostage till i snap some jerkoff pics for discord???

i live in a hole where we don't even have electrical service. we used to have telephone but they cut that all off a few years ago. my internet's been through cellular running off afucking lead-acid battery that gets charged off solar during the day, but in December the government had fiber built to every farmer and cow out here. i have symmetrical gigabit fiber now. its a 10G-EPON network and they laid the fucking cable through 1/2km of fucking JUNGLE to my house so that's just a thing now i have 1000/1000 but not power or drinkable water.

oh yeah SPEAKING OF WHICH the solar system that pumps our water is so old and decrepit it's finally failing catastrophically so i have to spend time designing an entirely new one from scratch, then installing it w my dad @ some point. the solar collectors are literally 35 years old, some of the oldest you'll ever see outsideof like an ancient satellite and they're fucking toast. everything else is a fire hazard and needs to be rewired.

thanks things are kind of difficult and i have to get stuff off my chest sometimes. im not even gonna start on the computer parts cost apocalypse.
